ABOUT LINGUASCENE

Language is something you do.

We’re building a place to rehearse real conversations before you need them in the real world.

From knowing words to using them

Ordering a coffee becomes harder when the milk you wanted has run out. Checking into a hotel means explaining what you need, asking a follow-up question and understanding the answer. LinguaScene gives adult learners a low-pressure space to practice these moments.

Characters have a role, a setting and a reason to speak. Each scene has communication goals, changing events and a reflection on what you actually said. The aim is to help you make yourself understood, not memorize a perfect script.

Step into a situation

Practice English, Japanese or Korean in cafés, hotels, restaurants and airports.

Make the conversation work

Respond in your own words. Optional reply suggestions and language feedback help when you need them.

Take something with you

Review your conversation, save useful expressions and return for another try.

Independent, and built for the long term

LinguaScene is built and operated by Kikyo, an independent developer, under the project name Nivalune. It is an early-stage, self-funded product focused on scenario-based language learning. mykikyo.com is our current home.

The public beta offers free guided practice and AI practice with your own model API key. Your provider charges for its usage; platform subscriptions and credit purchases are not available yet. We’re improving the experience through real use and feedback.

The application runs on AWS, with Cloudflare providing the network entry point. Our focus is a useful, reliable learning product that can grow sustainably.
